A visit to the Borough Market

I love markets. Whether I’m looking for local delicacies, vintage jeans, exotic drinks or poetry collections, I’m always able to find something incredible at markets. There’s something special about the atmosphere at markets, especially food markets. The speed-talking vendors, tourists browsing through foreign goods and locals rushing to get their favorite cheese from one of the many stalls.

Whenever I visit a new city, I always seek out at least one market and London was no exception. When I read about he Borough Market online, I knew that I had to check it out for myself. The market is hidden in a beautiful, old building where you can find everything from fresh oysters to vegetable juice to cure your pub-hangover. My favorite part was the many stalls with street food from all corners of the world. I tried vegan Indian food, oysters, beetroot juice and caramel samples from the many stalls – I can’t wait to come back and try more delicacies!
